In 1977 Coram PACEY was formed by childminders and still to this day, our members are the heartbeat of our organisation. Our members and the children they care for shape the charitable work that we do and inspire us to fight for the rights of early years providers to retain a skilled and passionate workforce.

Now our members are not only childminders, but childminding assistants, nannies, nursery workers and nursery managers. They are dedicated, passionate and inspiring.

Stella Esinam Worwui-Ashiadey

Stella Esinam Worwui-Ashiadey

Stella is a trustworthy, dependable, gentle and caring professional. She is an early years and special educational needs and disability practitioner and an Ofsted registered outstanding childminder; and the director of a large childminding setting in Manchester. She is married and a mother of three children.

Stella has over 23 years’ worth of experience working in various educational and care settings in varying roles such as, a teacher, nursery and pre-school practitioner, church – children with special educational needs and disability (SEND) teacher, SEND outreach worker, deputy service manager and girl child education facilitator among other roles.”

She has vast expertise in safeguarding and supporting children with SEND and was recognised as a SEND support childminder by Manchester City Council, providing specialist support to her childminding peers to improve practice.

“Coram PACEY Support is a one-stop-shop for me as a member, this gives me peace of mind! Above all, Coram PACEY ensures that barriers that will hinder Childminding Services were removed, for example the Manifesto for Childminders 2024 and  Childminders Awards were very encouraging. Most importantly,  advocating  for us to equally partake and  be part of the national  objectives and plans for the early years  and providers. Coram PACEY go above and beyond to showcase the quality work we do as childminders ensuring  our voice are heard too. What else can I ask for, the regular national and local updates when there is a change, their Childcare Professional Magazine delivered right at my door step, packed with knowledge, skills, current research articles that helps me provide quality, best practice and inclusion; e.g. ‘BEHIND THE SILENCE; Understanding and Supporting SELECTIVE MUTISM in Children’ in the magazine, is a great knowledge to be brought to my attention, so that those children’s needs  are met too. Annette Kingsley-Scott

Annette Kingsley-Scott

Established as a childminder in 2003, providing consistent, personalised, inclusive and supportive childcare, Annette is also a qualified teacher, Forest School Leader and Early Years SENCO.

She undertakes continuous professional development and is constantly striving to provide the best possible homebased childminding and early education to those in her care.

Achievements include; Ofsted Outstanding grade, The Royal Horticultural Society 5 Star Gardening School, Lambeth Natural Thinkers Setting and Childminder SENCO of the year for 2024 and 2026.

Vicky Walsh

Vicky Walsh is an experienced Early Years Leader and the founder of Curious Learners Childcare in the London Borough of Bromley. With over 15 years of frontline experience as a childminder, she combines exceptional early years practice with national policy engagement, contributing to Department for Education projects and engaging with Ofsted, local authorities and sector organisations to help shape and strengthen early years practice across England.

A former Trustee of Coram PACEY and a trusted contributor to several national advisory groups, Vicky is passionate about championing childminders, raising standards and ensuring every child has the very best start in life. At the heart of her work is creating nurturing, ambitious learning environments where children flourish through curiosity, play and meaningful relationships.

Whether she’s supporting children in her own setting or helping shape national conversations about the future of early years, her focus remains the same, helping children, families and practitioners thrive together.

Monira is a Childminder from London who has followed in the footsteps of her mother in her role as a childminder, fostering a warm and inclusive family culture in her setting.

She works hard to build tight-knit connections to her community – networking with other childminders, nurseries, schools and supporting local businesses too.
