Magic of Childminding

Following the huge success of our current awareness campaign, we’re using the theme #MagicofChildminding to highlight how childminders play such a unique and important part of the early years sector, why they are vital to the children and families they support, and to share how the magic of their setting and practice changes a child’s life.

Whether you want to get involved on socials, celebrate the best of childminding, take part in a stay and play or come to our report launch, there’s an event or activity for everyone during #ChildmindingWeek26

Campaign materials

#ChildmindingWeek26 is all about spreading the word of the incredible work childminders do day in, day out and the magic that they bring to children’s lives.

Whether you are a childminder wanting to raise the profile of your profession, a parent wanting to shout about how brilliant your childminder is from the rooftops or a supporter/ sector peer that wants to support Coram PACEY in our key mission to reverse the decline in childminder numbers, please help us by using the social media pack below and sharing across your social channels.

Social competition

We want to show everyone exactly why childminding is so magical by hosting a social media competition with the chance to win a whole host of prizes.

Here is how to take part:

  1. Take a photo that shows one of many things you do as a childminder that is so magical for children to experience.
  2. Share it on your favourite social media channels
  3. Don’t forget to tag @CoramPACEY so we can see your post!
  4. Use the hashtags #ChildmindingWeek26 and #MagicofChildminding

At the end of the week, we’ll pick one winner at random. Good luck!

We will be launching our transformative report for the childminding profession which will explore the positive impact of childminders on children, families, local authorities and the wider sector.

Local authorities

We are thankful for the work local authorities have been doing to support childminders and our recent work together on the #MagicofChildminding campaign. We are encouraging every local authority to put on their own events and want to hear from you so that we can shout about it.

Please contact policy@corampacey.org.uk if you would like to tell us about your event or would like our help to organise something.
