Childcare regulations and frameworks are different in Wales from England. If you live and work in Wales, you’ll be registered by the CIW, and work within frameworks and regulations specific to Wales.

It is also important to be aware of the role of Social Care Wales in supporting development of the childcare and early years workforce in Wales to ensure they have the best knowledge and skills.
