Childminders and digital activities (Wales) / Gwarchodwyr plant a gweithgareddau digidol

As part of Welsh Government’s continued work to take forward the recommendations of the Independent Review of Childminding, Welsh Government is aiming to better understand childminder perspectives and experiences of undertaking digital activities as part of their work.

To achieve this (with Coram PACEY Cymru support) Welsh Government has developed a Survey and is asking all registered childminders to complete by 7 September 2025.

This survey will ask about the sorts of digital activities undertaken, and how often.

It will also ask how a childminder feels about undertaking digital activities, their confidence levels and whether any support would help this element of their work.

The information collected through this survey will be used to inform policy direction in relation to childminders and their digital needs.

No personal information will be collected, and all responses will be treated as anonymous.

If you require assistance or would prefer to do this survey over the phone, contact Coram PACEY, either by phone: 02920 351407, or email: cymru@corampacey.org.uk.

If there are any other questions in relation to this survey, please contact: childcareandplayworkconsultation@gov.wales
