Could you be our next winner?

This March, we’re searching for our next Regional Childminder Award winners!

Do you know a childminder who makes an extraordinary difference to the children they care for? Someone who brings a little extra magic to their setting, who goes above and beyond every day, or whose passion for childcare has transformed their community?

Or… did we just describe you? If so, we want to hear from you.

Applications open 12 March

From 12 March, you’ll be able to apply for your chance to become one of our Regional Childminder Award winners. These awards celebrate the very best childminders across England and Wales, those who:

make a meaningful impact on the children and families they support
champion high standards in early years settings
are a role model for others in the profession
action change in their community

Applications close 26 April, after which our judging process will begin. Winners will be notified ahead of the public announcement during Childminding Week 2026 (11–17 May).

Please note that only Coram PACEY members can enter and apply to become a Regional Childminder award winner.

A step closer to Childminder of the Year 2026

All regional winners will be automatically entered into the Childminder of the Year Awards 2026, putting them in the running for national recognition.

Terms and conditions

Only Coram PACEY members can enter the regional childminder awards.
Coram PACEY welcomes submissions in Welsh.
Closing date for submissions is 11.59pm 26 April 2026.
Submissions will be shortlisted by the Coram PACEY team. Winners will then be decided by a judging panel.
Winners will be announced publicly on Coram PACEY social media channels during Childminding Week 2026, although winners will be informed in advance.
Each winner will receive a framed certificate and will be able to use a winner’s logo on their social media platforms and on communication and marketing materials.
Each person entering will receive 15% discount for tickets to Coram PACEY’s Childcare and early years conference 2027 (Date TBC) – discount code will be displayed after entry is submitted.
The information provided in your submission may be used in Coram PACEY marketing material.
Names and photographs of winners will be used in Coram PACEY marketing material.
Winners will be required to submit a short video for use on social media platforms.
