Coram PACEY Cymru are pleased to share we have been successful in gaining funding through the Curriculum for Wales Grant support programme, under the Foundation Learning priority.
The grant of £184,000 until March 2028 is aimed at the funded non maintained nursery sector which includes childminding settings.
The project supports the sector in Wales to enhance quality practice in nursery education and ensure continued alignment with the Curriculum for Wales. This includes advice, support, professional learning and resources to enhance curriculum implementation.
Coram PACEY will focus work on childminders through the delivery of associated activities, partnership working and early education excellence across Wales.
This will include:
- Support to settings
- Policy development
- Partnership working and collaboration across the non-maintained sector (both funded and non-funded) including schools and other education partners/providers including Flying Start.
- Supporting successful transitions practice
- Delivering and supporting a programme of webinars to facilitate discussion and provide opportunities to share information and good practice

Mae Coram PACEY Cymru yn falch o rannu ein bod wedi llwyddo i gael cyllid drwy raglen gymorth Grant Cwricwlwm i Gymru o dan y flaenoriaeth Dysgu Sylfaen.
Mae grant o £184,000 wedi’i anelu at y sector meithrin nas cynhelir a ariennir sy'n cynnwys lleoliadau gwarchod plant.
Mae’r prosiect yn cefnogi’r sector meithrin nas cynhelir yng Nghymru i wella safon arferion mewn addysg feithrin a sicrhau aliniad parhaus â’r Cwricwlwm i Gymru. Mae hyn yn cynnwys cyngor, cefnogaeth, dysgu proffesiynol ac adnoddau i wella gweithredu’r cwricwlwm.
Bydd Coram PACEY yn canolbwyntio gwaith ar warchodwyr plant drwy ddarparu gweithgareddau cysylltiedig, gweithio mewn partneriaeth a rhagoriaeth mewn addysg gynnar ledled Cymru.
Bydd hyn yn cynnwys:
- Cefnogaeth i leoliadau
- Datblygu polisïau
- Gweithio mewn partneriaeth a chydweithio ar draws y sector nas cynhelir (sector a ariennir a sector heb ei ariannu) gan gynnwys ysgolion a phartneriaid/darparwyr addysg eraill gan gynnwys Dechrau'n Deg.
- Cefnogi arferion pontio llwyddiannus
- Cyflwyno a chefnogi rhaglen o weminarau i hwyluso trafodaeth a darparu cyfleoedd i rannu gwybodaeth ac arfer da
Bydd rhagor o wybodaeth yn cael ei rhannu wrth i'r gwaith hwn fynd rhagddo drwy ein cyfathrebiadau rheolaidd ag aelodau, cyfryngau cymdeithasol a thudalennau gwefan.
